If your like us, chicken a a staple for dinner time. However if your looking for quick and super juicy your turning to dark meat, thighs or legs but what if I told you we have a recipe to make breast and tenders just as juicy.
We start with a simple brine helping pack in the flavor then grill locking in the juices. You will love this easy recipe and the best part your family will to.
Ingredients
-
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
-
1tbls Olive Oil
-
1/8 cup kosher or table salt
-
2tsp Griller SPG
Directions
Prep grill for direct grilling between looking for about 400° t grates (using grill grates will make those perfect lines)
Fill a large Ziploc with 2 cups of warm water and 1/8 cup kosher salt. Shake well until most of the salt is absorbed. Add the chicken breasts and let them sit in the mixture to brine for 15 minutes, for more flavor you can refrigerate in bag for up to 4 hours. Remove the chicken breasts from the brine, rinse them with cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
Place the chicken breasts in a single layer on large pan and brush on both sides (turning once) evenly olive oil. Lightly seasoning Griller SPG making sure even coat on both sides.
Grill 15 - 18 mins flipping half way through, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Cooking time will vary and I always recommend using a thermometer. You are looking for 165°F at the thickest part of the chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked, transfer the chicken to a clean plate, and tent the plate with foil , this will help retain the juices. Let rest for at least 5-10 minutes and enjoy.
